Job Title: Supervisor – Accounts (International)

Working Hours: 9 Hours (inclusive of break)

Job Summary:

SMB Services Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Supervisor – Accounts (International) to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and support financial reporting functions. The role involves managing bookkeeping activities, ensuring compliance with international accounting standards, and supervising a small team of accountants. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with international clients (preferably US-based) and possess strong analytical and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily accounting and bookkeeping operations, ensuring accuracy of financial records in accounting software (QuickBooks/Xero).
  • Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules on a timely basis.
  • Monitor cash flow, revenues, and expenses, highlighting variances and recommending improvements.
  • Perform and review monthly reconciliations, including bank, general ledger, and other key accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (GAAP) and relevant tax regulations.
  • Support and guide team members, ensuring task completion and maintaining quality standards.
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting workflows.
  • Coordinate with clients to address queries and maintain smooth communication.
  • Assist in audit processes by preparing required documentation and responding to audit queries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights for decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration or relevant professional qualification (ACCA, CA, ICMA, CIMA – Part Qualified or Qualified)
  • Experience: 6–8 years of relevant accounting experience (preferably with international clients, BPO, or audit firms)

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of International GAAP and financial reporting standards
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
  • Good command of MS Excel and financial analysis tools

Soft Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good leadership and team coordination abilities
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
